Matt K. Turner (WRITER/DIRECTOR) – For good reason very few filmmakers write, direct, produce, edit, and compose the music on a single film.  But for Matt K. Turner, filling all these rolls felt like coming home.  For years Turner spent his nights DJing and his days creating underground electronic music for his own record label.  After music brought him to Los Angeles, he transitioned to screenwriting and broke out with the indie cult comedy Family Weekend.  Later he jumped into television as a writer on the critically acclaimed ABC drama The Family, starring Joan Allen.  Always looking to push himself in new directions, Turner then dove into prose with his science fiction novel Genesis.  But it wasn’t until making his first short film that Turner found the creative satisfaction he had spent so many years pursuing.  Shot in one crazy day in the desert, RFLKTR finally brings together all of Turner’s skills to conjure a striking example of what can happen when an artist personally crafts a singular vision from concept to screen.
